CALCIUM CARBONATE MASTERBATCHES FOR MARINE BIODEGRADABLE RESINS

Our Masterbatch uses compound made from bio-based polybutylene succinate(PBS), and boasts high levels of biodegradability* in marine ecosystems, high heat resistance and low temperature heat sealing properties.

To produce our masterbatch, calcium carbonate is blended in a high cocentration of up to 70% with a resin compound, and is uniformly and highly deispersed. Dedicated molding machinery is not required, and all molding processes can be performed with existing equipment.

*OK biodegradable MARINE certification. Some grades have a biodegradability of 90% or more in seawater (30 ° C) within 6 months, and have been found to be safe and highly biodegradable, which has cleared the standards in ecotoxicity tests.
